PhxAnarchy - go do your research. I think you'll find there's no salvation through worship and pure faith in buddhism. It's more of an advanced psychology and philosophy, with insight gained in stages, than a 'religion' as we know it.

Seeing buddhism as a brainwashing is like seeing breething as unnecessary.
Or like saying the people that spread the idea that vitamins are necessary - that we need to eat veggies and fruit instead of junk food - are also brainwashing.
Brainwashing is powered by the necessity of power and dimishing the personal way of thinking. Unfortunately in Tibet the chinese are destroying the very soul of fellow humans... A disgrace to humanity...

In the hopes that Guanyin will somehow revisit this listing; Do you know that Noam Chomsky and Howard Zinn both (to name two well known and widely respected westerners) both identify themselves as some form of Anarchists? Maybe you and others have been hood-winked by MSM puppets that Anarchy is a bad thing. I'd debate that the current free-market capitalistic society running the USofA into the ground is far worse. Of course, I say this "with all due respect." ;)
